本編はスーパー耐久レースに挑む“ある”一台の車が、勝利を目指して限界に挑む姿を軸に構成されています。ドライバーのみならず、チームメンバーや技術スタッフ、レース場関係者の情熱が交錯し、車の可能性を信じて挑戦する姿を通してモータースポーツの魅力を表現しました。

The core of the experience revolved around a single car challenging its limits in pursuit of victory at the Super Taikyu race. The production highlighted not only the drivers but also the passion of the entire team—engineers, technical staff, and circuit crew—showcasing their relentless dedication and belief in the potential of their machine. Through this, we aimed to capture the essence and thrill of motorsports.

Technical Details

本作品では、ドームテントという特殊な投影形状に対応すべく様々なツールを横断して駆使し、モータースポーツの魅力を新たな視点で表現しました。 レースシーンでは、富士スピードウェイ（FSW）の高精度なCGモデルを使用。実際のサーキットデータを基に作成されたこのモデルは、視覚的にも没入感のある迫力を提供します。また、FSWを実際に走行したレースカーの数値データを基にしたデータビジュアライズシステムを開発し、その速度や挙動を視覚化。車両とドライバーの一体感やダイナミクスを具体的に表現しました。

To bring this vision to life, we leveraged a variety of tools to suit the unique dome tent projection format, offering a fresh perspective on the appeal of motorsports. The race scenes featured highly detailed CG models of Fuji Speedway (FSW), created using actual circuit data for an ultra-realistic and visually immersive experience. We also developed a data visualization system based on real race car telemetry from FSW, transforming speed and driving dynamics into captivating visual representations that conveyed the car-driver synergy with precision.

さらに、インダストリーグッドシーンでは、印象的なレースカーの写真に加えて、バックヤードやパドックでの選手やスタッフたちの様子を写した無数の写真を活用し、大画面で迫力ある映像に仕上げています。 これらの要素が織り交ざることで、視覚的な魅力と見ごたえのある演出が実現しました。特に、共感覚的なデータ体験を通じて、モータースポーツの複雑な魅力を新しい方法で引き出しています。

In addition, the industrial-themed segment incorporated stunning photos of race cars alongside candid shots of drivers and staff in the paddock and backstage areas. This blend of visuals was presented on a massive screen, creating a powerful and dynamic spectacle. The fusion of these elements brought both visual splendor and emotional depth, offering a new, synesthetic way to experience the complexity and allure of motorsports.

With the full support of the Super Taikyu Organization and Fuji Speedway Co., Ltd., we created brand-new, immersive footage that captures the heartbeat of the circuit itself. The production was also made possible thanks to the passionate collaboration of members from the “S-Tai Waigaya Club”*—SUBARU Corporation, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., Honda Racing Corporation, and Mazda Motor Corporation—who came together to help bring our vision of the future, where motorsports and digital technology merge, to life. *The S-Tai Waigaya Club is a collaborative initiative that brings together Japanese automakers across brand boundaries to explore the future of cars and motorsports. Their collaboration enabled us to capture the raw intensity, speed, and excitement that can only be felt on the track. Over the course of 2024, we didn’t just film—we immersed ourselves in the entire season, visiting each company’s site to document their challenges, breakthroughs, and moments of evolution. This was not just a short-term endeavor but a large-scale project spanning an entire year. To depict the future of motorsports, every team member poured their heart and soul into this work, constantly refining and pushing the boundaries of what was possible.

Immersive Dome

本コンテンツは、幅14m×高さ8.2mのドームテントを使用した、モータースポーツ×デジタル映像によるイマーシブ体験作品です。 投影ドーム関連の製品を扱う Fulldome.pro社（https://fulldome.pro/）が提供するドームテントを日本国内での独自実施用にT&Sがカスタマイズし、 LEDとプロジェクターによる映像や音響、照明を含む立体的な没入感を実現いたしました。

This piece was designed as an immersive installation, using a dome tent measuring 14m in width and 8.2m in height. The dome, provided by Fulldome.pro (https://fulldome.pro/), was customized by T&S for this unique domestic presentation. The setup featured LED and projector-based visuals, sound, and lighting to deliver a fully immersive, three-dimensional experience.

■ 日本仕様の安全対策　Enhanced Safety Features for the Japanese Market

今回の日本導入にあたり、Fulldome.pro は日本の厳格な消防安全規制に完全準拠するため、以下のようなカスタマイズを実施しました。

1. 国際防火安全基準を満たす素材 ドームの外装カバーには国際的に認証された防火素材を採用。日本を含む複数国の防火認証を取得済みです。 2. 排煙口の設置 ドーム内の安全性を確保するため、新たに開発された排煙口を導入。これにより、万が一ドーム内で火災が発生した場合、 煙を迅速に排出し、視界の確保と有害な煙の吸入リスクを低減することで、避難の安全性を大幅に向上させます。 この設計は、日本の消防法に準拠し、ドーム内外の安全性を最優先に考慮しています。 3. 高い耐久性と耐震性を備えたジオデシックドーム（強度強化フレームの採用） ジオデシックドームは、構造上三角形のユニットで構成されており、高い強度と耐久性を持ちます。 そのため、暴風、大雨、暑さなどの自然条件に対して優れた耐性を示し、荷重を均等に分散する構造により、 地震などの揺れにも強い設計となっています。さらに今回、強度強化のために風速 30m/s に耐えるスチールフレームを採用し、 屋外イベントでも高い安全性を確保しています。 https://fulldome.pro/blog/the-geodesic-dome/

For this project, Fulldome.pro ensured full compliance with Japan’s strict fire safety regulations by implementing the following customizations:

1. Fire-resistant materials The dome’s outer cover uses internationally certified fireproof materials that meet fire safety standards in Japan and other countries. 2. Smoke vent installation To enhance safety, the dome was equipped with newly developed smoke vents. In the event of a fire, the system rapidly expels smoke, ensuring clear visibility and reducing the risk of inhaling harmful fumes, significantly improving evacuation safety. This design fully adheres to Japanese fire safety laws. 3. Geodesic dome with reinforced durability and earthquake resistance The dome structure uses a geodesic design composed of triangular units, providing exceptional strength and durability. This ensures resistance to strong winds, heavy rain, and high temperatures, while the evenly distributed load-bearing design enhances seismic resilience. Throughout the project, Fulldome.pro’s engineering team worked closely with Japanese regulatory authorities to fully meet local safety standards. Every stage, from test assembly to the manufacturing process, was meticulously designed with safety as the top priority.
